Question

How do I get Turbo Tax to enter my deductible charitable contributions from my IRA distributions? They did it correctly last year but not this year.

Box 4a is blank and my total distribution before charitable contributions is shown in box 4b.

    After you entered the Form 1099-R and the IRA box is selected and you are age eligible for the QCD, the program would have asked you if this was a Transfer to Charity.
