Only you would know if you opened a IRA and put money in it.  A IRA is done outside of work with your own money.  It wouldn't be deducted from your paychecks.  You would be getting IRA account statements like quarterly.  Do you have any investment accounts?

You would have some type of financial record if you contributed to an IRA.  If you do not know if you contributed to an IRS you probable did not.
