How do I properly enter a Massachusetts 1099-G form?

I have my 1099-G form from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for unemployment assistance from 2021. Only about 2 boxes match up with Turbo Tax's form and once I input all the information I think is correct I got a warning telling me that Mass withheld too much from me. I don't want to be inputting incorrect information and have it come back to bite me in the butt.

To enter your Unemployment Income you will click the following:

  • Federal
  • Income and Expenses
  • Show More next to Unemployment
  • Start Next to 1099-G Unemployment
  • Walk through the steps to enter your 1099-G from Unemployment
