How is this reported? RMD is $5605 and took out $7700, Where do I show the RMD and the $2095?

RMD is $5605 and took out $7700, Where do I show the RMD and the $2095?

When you enter your Form 1099-R, you will be asked how much of your $7,700 was an RMD. You will indicate "some" of your distribution was and RMD and then enter $5,605 in the box. On a later screen, you will be asked to verify the amount of all your RMDs. The program will walk you through it when you enter your Form 1099-R.

Thanks, I was using the wrong amount for the RDM. When I got that straightened out, I had to leave the box blank! No zero, no nothing. Then the form was corrected and the Federal form filed!
