Question

How many others this year are having the it's drop their return $3000 because they say turbo was off on their withholding amount?! When u have no hard return. No EIT, CTC

They say my withholdings were off by $3000 and I went through and entered everything right. I've noticed a huge group with same issue with TurboTax

If it's $3,000 exactly, it could be a data entry error.  Did you import your W-2 and other forms, or type them in yourself?  Did you make estimated tax payment, or have a 2020 refund applied to 2021?

 

It could also be that your employer was $3000 short when remitting your withholding to the IRS.
