How to enter 1099-R Estimates in TurboTax Desktop. Is there any specific way to enter the numbers and the forms and help center is vague (to me).

Would appreciate any help or you can let me know it can or cannot be done in the desktop version. I get an message to wait till Jan 11 2025 which is too late as I have to make final transaction before the end of the year. I would have thought that the TT desktop would have enabled me to enter estimates in the Easy forms instead of the using the real forms - very confusing to me as my return is really simple! Any guidance would be appreciated! I only have the 403B withdrawals left to do!!!

@81rxv1te , could you not use your 2023 software ( what-if or amend mode ) to try and see the effects of a decision ? That is what I have done in the past and continue to do so/ But of course I have window's desktop version of Home & Business. I don't think On-line version is available anymore.

Is there more I can do for you ?
