How to open another federal tax form

I have started my federal and state taxes but have not submitted it yet because of a problem with military retirement pay. So, I want to open a second federal tax form to do my son’s taxes. I can’t find where I would open a second form. Does anyone know how to do this?

If you are using TurboTax Online (as indicated by the tag below your question) each account can be used for only one federal tax return. To do a federal tax return for your son you have to use a different account. You cannot do your son's tax return with the same account that you use for your own tax return. You can have up to 5 accounts with the same email address.

Thank you but that is the issue. I don’t know how to go about setting up another account using the same email.

Online is only good for 1 return per account. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts. You can start another return in TurboTax Online by:

Logging out if you are in your account
Choose what TurboTax Online product you want to use for the second return
Create your account screen
Set up a new login for the second return
Start working on the new return

The Desktop program can do unlimited returns and efile 5. You can buy the Desktop CD/Download program directly from Turbo Tax
