Question

I am a non-resident. The only income I had was withdrawal of RRSP (17k dollar amount). I have a form NR4 for the taxes. I can't figure out how, or if I even need to file.

I haven't lived in Canada for about 10 years now. This was from an employment back then. Full empty of the RRSP. No other income from CAN at all. I am also a dependant in the USA, and do not need to file taxes this year. Just dont know what to do with the CAN NR4

Non-resident in the US but a dependent in the USA and not living in Canada. If you are a nonresident, you would need to talk to the customer service at Sprintax. If you are a US resident, you need to report all income worldwide. The NR4  reports many types of incomes and needs to be entered to match the type of income. If you need additional help, reply back with more information.
