Most likely you did contribute to your Retirement Plan through Payroll Deduction.

Check your W-2. If the 'Retirement Plan' box is checked, your contribution amount is probably the difference Between Box 1 and Box 3 on your W-2.

However, this amount is not deductible since it is already pre-tax, so you don't need to make an entry in this section. Just enter your W-2 as shown.
