Question

I am an ssdi recipient. I added my 4 children to my file but did not receive stimulus for them. Just my 1200$. Why didn't it go through? Will I receive it?

How old are your children? If they turned 17 in 2019, they are ineligible.

They are all under 12. I did everything I was supposed to with the site.

If all four children were your dependents and you entered them in the IRS non-filer tool, then it is possible that the IRS is processing their stimulus payments separately. It is unknown when they will make these payments, though.

If you don't receive the stimulus payments for them in 2020, you can always receive them as a credit on your 2020 return in 2021. The stimulus is actually an ADVANCE on a credit on your 2020 return.
