I am contributing to a Roth 401K NOT a Roth IRA. do I skip this section and check None of the above?

This section does not mention anything about a 401K WHY?

Yes, you do not need to go through the IRA Contributions section if you did not contribute to a Roth or Traditional IRA.  Check 'none of the above' if you do not have any accounts shown in the list.

 

Contributions to a Roth 401k are not reported as part of your tax return, therefore there is not a section to enter that information.  Contributions to your Roth 401k plan should be reported on your W-2 in box 12 with code AA.  

 

Entering that information from your W-2 is all you need to do with regard to reporting this information for tax return purposes.
