Question

I am filing a joint return. My wife's only income was from Social Security Benefits. Are those benefits reportable and / or taxable?

Yes.  ALL of your combined income goes on your joint return including the Social Security.

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
