Question

I am on social security disability and started working part time. Told social security taxes shouldn’t be withheld. What do I/my employer do to correct this

That is a false statement ... even if you are on disability the employer is required to withhold SS & Medicare taxes on each paycheck you earn.

Who told you that?  Sorry you have to pay SS & Medicare from wages no matter how old you are or if you are already getting SS or SSDI.

Maybe they meant your Social Security payments won't be reduced if you make other income.
