WHY DOES TURBO TAX ASK FOR A W2 FORM? I AM RETIRED

Please check you entries, you might accidentally indicated that you had an earned income or you had W-2 income in previous years and the software still has the information. If you need to delete your W-2 form, follow these steps in TurboTax online:

Open your return in TurboTax.
In the left black bar of the screen, and select Tax Tools, then Tools.
In the pop-up window, select Delete a form.
Click Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet and follow the onscreen instructions.
