If your Retirement Contribution is shown on your W-2, you can't get rid of it.

If you are receiving a small amount for the Retirement Savings Contribution Credit, and TurboTax wants you to upgrade to the Deluxe product to claim the credit, see if you qualify for the Free File Program.

If so, you could claim the credit at no additional charge.

another thought.......supposedly one way to get rid of it (in the past) was to go thru the Retirement Savings Contribution Credit interview questions again and indicate that you were a student in 2019.

......That worked in prior year's software.
