Question

I cannot file my return electronically because the on federal return I do not know how to fill out my unrecovered IRA contributions in either Part A Line 4a or 4b. Idid not have any and it will not accept $0.

    Users have encountered a situation where their 1099-R had information in Boxes 14 and 15 but not 16 and this caused an error such as you are having. Entering the amount in Box 1 into Box 16 resolved the issue.
