Question

I cannot find a place to enter the state taxes that were withheld from my Social Security

    I believe you mean you had state income taxes withheld from your social security check. I don't know if that is possible, but if you paid in state income taxes and they aren't reported on a tax form, you can enter them in TurboTax as follows:

     

    1. Go to the Deductions and Credits section in the Federal tax area

    2. Find Estimates and Other Taxes Paid and choose Estimates

    3. Choose the State Estimated Taxes for 2024 option and enter your state income taxes paid there
