Question

I cannot find my 1099-R or it was not sent. Can I input information another way?

Can you log into the fiduciary who sent the 1099-R and see if they have a  copy of the form under tax documents? 

 

Otherwise, you will see the option box 'I need to prepare a substitute 1099-R' in the Retirement Plans and Social Security section. If online, type '1099-R' in the search box, then select the 'jump to' link to get started.
