Question

I did a backdoor roth conversion. I got a 1099-r for my trad ira distribution and it is coded as #2 in box 7. Does this add to my taxable income? Trad IRA was empty

No, if you indicate that you did a conversion to your Roth IRA and that you had nondeductible contributions, you will not get taxed on the distribution.
