You get a SSA-1099 from Social Security, not a W2.

How to get a copy of a SSA-1099

You do not get a W-2 for Social Security.   They mail you a SSA1099 in January.   You should have it by now if you  were receiving Social Security benefits in 2024.

There is a way to go on the Social Security website and request one.  Go to www.ssa.gov  You have to create an account with a user name and password.

    https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/replacement-SSA-1099.html

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
