Question

I did take the RMD $149.48/mo. until June 2024 when my account was closed and received the final check of 766.60. That is all I received in 2024. Where do I enter this?

Where in Turbotax can I explain? The penalty went from $1.00 to 150.00. Should be no penalties.

You will report in the software that the RMD requirement has been met.

 

In TurboTax Online, within the entry of the pension distribution, go to the screen How much of this distributions applied to your December 31, 2024 RMD?

 

Select The entire distribution applied to the December 31, 2024 RMD.
