Question

I don’t see the distribution code on my form SSA-1099. What code do I put on the turbo tax Form? I can’t continue without a number.

Code number do I put in the distribution code box? This is for Social Security benefits.

You are trying to enter your SSA1099 in the wrong place.  There is not a distribution code for Social Security.

 

 Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
