I e-filed on 2/7/25 which was acceplted by US/state. I need to correct TIN on a 1099-R. How do I do this?

    The TIN that you submitted appears to have been used if the return has been accepted.  In your case I would not amend the return unless you receive a notice from the IRS requesting more information.  It seems as though the IRS has corrected your error for you.

    You cannot make changes to a return that in in pending, nor can you make changes while it is being processed by the IRS.   If you have any changes to make you will have to amend after it has been fully processed.
