Question

I entered 2 incomes, a Pension and SS, but the SS AMOUNT DOES NOT appear at the end when I get ready to file. How can I fix that?

SS might not be taxable.  What's on 1040 line 6b.

Up to 85% of Social Security becomes taxable when all your other income plus 1/2 your social security, reaches:

Married Filing Jointly: $32,000

Single or head of household: $25,000

Married Filing Separately: 0

Look at your Form 1040.   Line 6a is the total SS you entered and 6b is the taxable amount.   All of your SS may not be taxable.
