Question

I entered information from my 5498-SA instead of a 1099-R. I am now being asked to correct a field that I do not have and I cannot complete my filing.

I can't seem to clear out the area for Retirement Plans and Social Security.

Try this.:

Do a Search (upper right) for 1099-r and click on the jump-to link. Mac users should find 1099-r in the Topic List.

This should bring you to a table of your 1099-R (maybe just one).

Edit each 1099-R until you find the one you don't want, then back out and delete it using the Delete button or the trash can icon.
