Question
I entered pension from a 1099-R. I entered rebate from a 1099-MISC. In my Form 1040, my pension shows twice, 5b and 8 (rebate+pension). How to remove pension from line 8?
In the 1040 line 5b, it shows the income from my taxable pension annuity.
Also in Form 1040, on line 8, it has the rebate from my 1099-MISC plus the my pension from my 1099-R. So in my taxable income, my pension is being added twice. I'm thinking my pension should not be added to Line 8, correct?
