I filled out the information for 1099R, did the worksheet, how does TT calculate? Looks like they aren't adding that 1099R income.

I filled out the simplified worksheet, etc.  Much of the 1099R IS taxable, but when it does a review for income it doesn't add it in, unless I'm looking at it wrong?

The best way to see how much of your 1099-R is taxable income is to look at Form 1040, Line 15b or 16b.

On the left-side menu, go to Tax Tools, Tools.  On the Tools Center pop-up menu, choose 'View Tax Summary'.

Back at the left-side menu, choose Preview my 1040.

When the Form 1040 opens, scroll down to to Lines 15 and 16 to see if all or part of your 1099-R distribution is taxable income (screenshot).
