I gave someone a 1099 - where do I add this information in TurboTax?

Do you have a business and did you pay someone $600 or more for services to the business?  If so then you enter the payment under contract labor in the Business Expenses section of the program.

If you do not have a business you do not enter the Form 1099-NEC on your tax return.

Do you have self employment income and filling out Schedule C?  You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Premium version.
