Question

I had a 1099 in 2019 but not in 2020 but Intuit automatically added one this year and I can't remove the empty boxes from the review. How do I get Turbo Tax to stop?

It's holding up my return because it keeps saying I need to review this information. Well the first thing I did when I started was tell the system I didn't have any 1099s last year.

Is there a 1099-R for you to delete? The program holds on to information it feels is important. Did you have a disaster distribution in a prior year? Maybe you do need the forms.

You should be able to delete the form. If not, you may need to delete retirement worksheets it is holding for you. See How to Delete
