Question

I had a gross distribution on a 1099-R from a nonresident state but rolled it over into 401K. Do I need to file a nonresident return?

No, you don't need to file a nonresident state tax return because your 1099-R distribution came from another state.

Review the TurboTax articles Where do I enter my 1099-R? for navigation instuctions.
