Question

I had a small 401k that i closed out due to hardship. I have been on SSI for a few years. I did not get a 1099-r form, but i do have some info. can someome please help?

You need the 1099R.   You can get it from the plan ---if you knew how to take out your money you know how to contact the plan.   We do not know what you mean by "small"---since that is a relative term.

 

 

You must file a federal return if half your SS or RRTA benefits plus your other income exceeds 

Single, HOH, or qualifying widower  $25,000

Married filing Jointly  $32,000

Married filing Separately $0
