Question

I had to take a RMD this year from Schwab and they took out taxes on it. I can't figure out how to enter this income into the turbo tax or the tax paid ?

You need the Form 1099-R reporting the distribution and you enter it in the Wages and Income section of TurboTax, then Retirement Plans and Social Security, then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R):

Yes, I had the form, but the Turbo Tax software didn't automatically guide me to make the entry.  I finally figured it out on my own but expected Turbo Tax to lead me to make the entry.
