I have 2 1099-R's from NC and VA. I only lived in VA in 2024. Should I request an amended 1099-R?

I lived in NC for 30 years. I moved to VA on 1/1/2024. My pension has paid monthly with no interruption. However I've received 2 1099-R forms, one for VA and one for NC. Should I request an amended 1099-R?

Is it the same income? If so, make sure the Corrected box is not checked on the Virginia form. If it is not, yes you should contact the pension plan for a correction.
