Form 1099-NEC is issued to independent contractors to report non-employee compensation.  Non-employee compensation is reported on Schedule C as self-employment income, along with any related expenses.  To enter your 1099-NEC, while logged in to your return:

  • Click on "Search"
  • Type in "1099-NEC" and hit enter.
  • Click on "Jump to 1099-nec"
  • Follow the step-by-step to enter your 1099-NEC
