I have a 1099-R PENSION RETIREMENT form, the form I am finding does not match. Where is the right 1099-R ?

This is from a Public Emp Sys and not lump sum payment.

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

....also, be aware that the IRS changed the box numbers for boxes 12,13,14 and moved them to 14,15,16 for 2020 1099-R forms.

 

A few states were irresponsible and did not update their 1099-R forms to the proper 2020 format.   IF your 1099-R form shows; < state withholding, <state ID, and <state distribution in boxes 12,13,14.........then you need to put them in the properly labelled boxes 14,15,16 in the TTX software.  (Box 16 may not have a value )
