I have a 1099-R with a value of "0 %" in box 9a: "Your percentage of total distribution". TurboTax says the minimum value is 0.01. How should I enter this form?

Or is it not required to enter it? It's a direct rollover (distribution code G in box 7) with no taxable amount.

The entry in box 9(a) is supposed to show your percentage of the distribution entered in box 1. If you did not share the distribution with anyone, you should leave the entry blank. Otherwise, you would enter the percentage of the distribution that you received.

You do not have to enter the percentage. Just leave box 9a empty in TurboTax.

I haven't entered anything in box 9a on Turbotax, as advised, but Turbotax continues to tell me I must enter a number in this box when it looks for things to be corrected.  My 1099-R leaves this box empty.  Is it OK to go ahead and file, even when TurboTax tells me to fill in that blank?

@gordoapn You should delete the Form 1099-R and re-enter the form manually.  The error should be eliminated when the form is re-entered.
