I have a 1099R from 20 that I'm trying to file with 21.I took a picture of it

I do not want to type in anything that is wrong.  It will not allow me to type in the correct information. Anytime that I do it sends me right back there in red and tells me must be 0.01%. Like I said prior, I took a picture of the 1099R and in box 9a it clearly shows 0% not 0.01% what do I do in this situation?

First, you cannot file a 2020 Form 1099-R as part of your 2021 tax return.  You must amend your 2020 return to include the 2020 Form 1099-R.

 

With regard to the zero being reported in box 9a, you may need to contact the financial institution that issued the Form 1099-R for a corrected version or an explanation.  A zero in box 9a is not an appropriate number for that entry.
