Question

I have a Natwest account in England from when I was a kid. Do I need to declare this or is it ok? I have not earned income in the UK. I just still have a natwest card

If the aggregate value of your financial accounts exceeds $10,000 at any time during the calendar year, you need to report them. This is a cumulative balance, meaning if you have 2 accounts with a combined account balance greater than $10,000 at any one time, both accounts would have to be reported.  For more information see:  Comparison of Form 8938 and FBAR Requirements
