I have a regular IRA. Can I contribute to my regular IRA and also open and contribute to a ROTH as well?

You can choose to split your contributions between a traditional and a Roth IRA as long as your combined contributions do not exceed the annual limits. The total limit is $5,500 (+1,000 if you are aged 50 or older).
