Question

I have income from a W-2 and a 1099 NEC, but I only see the option for roth IRA contributions for my 1099 NEC income. Is there a way to add my contributions for my W-2?

The only option I see currently listed is for self-employment retirement plans.

If you contributed to an IRA, only a traditional and ROTH IRA go with w2 wages. For your business, you can select a retirement plan and contribute based on net income. Some plans require more effort to administer. See Tax information for retirement plans.

Your total contributions to all plans can't be more than 100% of your earnings. Remember, the business is net income.
