Question

I have income on a real estate trust that i sold that was reported on a 1099-B. Do I need to fill out a form 8949? Do I need to fill out on a schedule D?

    Are you asking if you can avoid reporting that income ?

    TurboTax will populate and complete schedule D and Form 8949 automatically, based on your sale entries reported on the 1099-B. You shouldn't have to enter them manually.
