I'm using a Form SSA-1099 social security benefit statement. Can I use it?

If Social Security was your ONLY income you do not need to file a tax return.   If you had other taxable income then you must include your SSA1099 on your return.

 

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
