I move to GA from Ca . Would my pension from Ca count as income in GA?

    GA does not tax Social Security but it does tax some other kinds of retirement income including pensions.   When you enter your 1099R on the federal return, the information will flow to the GA return and the software will use GA tax laws to determine if your pension is taxable.

     

    Did you move during the year?   Do you need to file returns for both CA and GA?
