I never drew out of my retirement and it won’t let me sign without a 1099..Why not?

If you have no 1099R to enter then delete that 1099R.  It must have accidentally got started. 

Log into account

continue with the return

then go to MY ACCOUNT on the left side of the screen

Then click on TOOLS

then below the boxes will be DELETE A FORM

click on this and find that pesky 1099R and delete it.

Or, go to Retirement Income under Wages and Income and EDIT the 1099R under that section.
