Question

I never got a form 1099, yet i had interest from a savings account, also i had some money in a credit union that had a dividend amount. Again, never got a form.

If you know you have interest income, you can report the income without the form. Navigate to the section:

  • In your open return, select My Account
  • Tools
  • Topic Search
  • Type '1099-INT in the box, then select GO

You will be entering the amounts as if you received a form.
