Does a W-2 from Social Security have an EIN?

The Social Security Administration doesn't send out form W-2 for Social Security benefits; it sends out form SSA-1099.

You need to enter this form in the correct place.

Go to Federal Taxes->Wages & Income->Retirement Plans and Social Security and click on "Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)"

Answer that you received Social Security benefits and then enter the SSA-1099 data.

Note that there is no request for an EIN on that screen.
