Question

I originally entered a RMD amount for a 457 account, but later realized I don't need to, because I closed that account in 2024. Why am I getting an error message?

The error message still thinks I need to add an amount for the 457.

    If you have a 1099-R, the program needs to make sure you took the full RMD for the account. In this case, you took more than required. The program needs to know not to charge you for not taking enough.
