I paid 2600 into railroad retirement instead of Social Security. Where do I report this on my return?

My W-2 has zero deduction for Social Security.  Am I having to pay for an apparent zero contribution?

You shouldn't have to pay extra ....but...you do need to make sure your Tier 1 and Tier 2 RRB contributions are shown in box 14 of that W-2 form, with the proper category selected for each one.

If your W-2 has nothing in the box for Social Security, don't enter anything.
