Question

I paid into an IRA with my bank. I must have missed the spot where I was supposed to enter this info?

I also rolled over contributions from another traditional IRA into a traditional IRA.

To enter your IRA contributions (not the rollover):

1) Select Federal Taxes in the top menu

2) Select Deductions and Credits just below the top menu

3) Scroll down to Retirement and Investments and select Show More

4) Select Start next to Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions

You should have received a form 1099-R for the rollover.  Go to:

Click Federal Taxes (top menu)

Click Wages & Income (just below top menu)

Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security and click Show More (if necessary)

Enter the 1099-R exactly as printed.  If the code in box 7 was a "G," you did a direct rollover and you're done.

If it was not a direct rollover, take these additional steps:

At the What Did You Do with The Money screen indicate that I moved the money to an IRA or another retirement account and then select rolled over down below.
