I put after tax $ to traditional IRA in Dec 2024 and converted the whole amount to Roth IRA in Jan 2025. I did not receive 1099R yet. Do I still fill out 8606 this year?

Yes, you should file form 8606 with your 2024 tax return as you had nondeductible IRA contributions to your IRA.

The conversion to Roth IRA will be reported on your 2025 tax return.

I have filed the 2024 tax yesterday. I don't think I have submitted the 8606 form. Can I still submit an amendment? Where can I find the 8606 form from Turbotax? Many thanks!

I searched my 2024 tax record, and I actually did fill out the 8606 forms. All the worry for nothing:) Thanks!
